Kids Christmas Party

Sunday, December 11th - The life group that my mommy & daddy go to had a Christmas Party for all the kids. It was fun! There was a magician and then Santa came and gave all the children a present!!

Christmas with Friesens

We had a great start to the Christmas Season. Uncle Harry, Auntie Eva, Michael, Simba, Greg & Melanie & Rogue came down from Edmonton to celebrate Christmas together. It was my first Christmas gathering and I got way to spoiled. I got a Huge PeekaBoo Block Truck, a cool cell phone and an amazing drawing of me. They all spoiled my parents with great gifts too.

Update

I'm starting to get around more on my own now. I can go on my knees to reach for things or push myself backwords while on on my bum or tummy. I'm can talk now too! I say, Dhat Dhat Dhat Dhat!

(Oct 25/05)

I didn't go trick or treating on Halloween but I wore my costume for most of the day. Mommy took me to the WestJet office, Costco & Walmart - so many people loved my Lion costume.

Penticton

October 25th - 30th; Mommy & I went to visit 'auntie' Helen & Logan while Logans Dad was in London, England. 'Auntie' Joleen arrived on the 27th from Winnipeg to get together with her girlies and meet Logan. They had lots of fun together. It was great to see Logan again, he's grown lots. He was so nice to share his toys and give up his bed for me again.

Thanksgiving

October 7 - 9th - We spent Thanksgiving Long weekend in Leduc with Uncle Harry, Auntie Eva,Michael, Greg & Melanie. Auntie Eva made lots of great food. She always has awesome decorations to go with the occassion.

Weekend Getaway

September 23 - 25th...We spent the weekend in Penticton, BC visiting 'uncle' Kevin, 'auntie' Helen & their new son Logan Riley! He was born Aug 5th - it was great to finally meet my best friend! He's awesome. He shared his toys with me and gave up his bedroom for me and my parents to sleep in. The mommy's had a great weekend catching up and the Daddy's played golf.

Swimming Lessons

Monday (Sept 12th) was my first day of swimming lessons! I'm in the Star Fish class, 4mth of age to 18mths. There is a total of 11 students. Our first day, each student pretended they were a fish and swam around the circle introducing each other. We also floated on our tummy (didn't have face in the water) and back.
Wednesday (Sept 14th) - TODAY I WENT DOWN THE WATER SLIDE & PUT MY FACE IN THE WATER!!! The waterslide was long and went in lots of circles, I had fun! In the big pool, we sang a song, "RowRowRow your boat gently down the stream, HA HA fooled you, I'm a Submarine" and then we dunked ourselves all the way under water! I wasn't even mad at my mommy for doing it!!
Wednesday (Oct 5th) - Today was my last day of swimming lessons. I passed! Grandma & Grandpa Zacharias came to visit us for a few days so they saw me on Monday in the pool.

Summer 2005

Here are just some highlights from my summer...

In July, we went camping in Kananaskis with Gord & Cindy. During the day the weather was good but it rained and was windy during the night so I didn't sleep to good the first night. We went on a short hike (the picture is just some of the scenery on the way up the mountain), sat around the fire (which I loved) and napped a lot.

August Long Weekend we went camping at Little Bow (southeast of Calgary) with my parents and 3 other families. We had awesome weather the whole time. To cool down we went for ice cream or hit the beach! The water was to cold for me but my Mommy found a spot for me on the sand where there was a puddle for me to splash in. Sleeping in the tent was much better this time - I didn't have to wear a bunch of layers or be trapped in my sleeping bag - I was a lot more comfy in just in my pj's!

My Auntie Nancy, Uncle Wes and cousins (Ashley, Alyssa & Graham) came out from Manitoba to see us. They spoiled me so much with Love. When we were at the mall, me and my cousins went on a 'pony ride' and then we went bowling (well, I was hungry so mumm had to watch while I ate). On another day, we went to a place that had a lot of pools. This is just one of the many times I went swimming this summer. We spent a few days together at a hotel in Leduc too. We went up there for "Auntie" Melanie and "Uncle" Gregs wedding.

At the Calgary Zoo with Mom & Dad

Here we are on a hike just outside of Canmore. We went with Gord, Cindy, Derek & Tamara. It was a long way up to the top but we had some great scenery along the way. On the way back down I slept most of the way. We had a picnic before driving back into Canmore to do some more sight seeing. What a fun day outdoors.

We flew down to Winnipeg for a Hotel Weekend with Grandma & Grandpa Zak, Uncle Rod, Auntie Geraldine, Uncle Wes, Auntie Nancy and my cousins (this is us at the Play Gym - Ashley, Alyssa & Graham). We spent Sunday afternoon at the Assinaboine Park before spending a couple sleeps at PaPa & Grandma Walls house in Portage. We watched my PaPa Wall drive the bobcat and went to the Write Spot with Grandma Wall for coffee!

Things I Do

These are some things that I do daily...drink, eat, sleep & read. I only took the bottle for a few days because my Mommy was in a wedding, I didn't mind it. I eat baby cereal, fruit & veggies and will be starting to eat meat. For a snack I eat a cookie.

My Family

Here's a picture of my family. My Daddy works with Summit REIT (commercial RealEstate) and my Mommy is on Maternity Leave so we do a lot of things together. She sure keeps me busy!
